Spring in the mid north is a beautiful time after the long freezing cold winter. It can get cold enough to snow, but our rainfall isn’t high, so planting suitable plants is a must. Dedicated and determined gardeners work to make their patches beautiful but surviveable, considering how hot, dry and windy summer can be.
